Logic X 10.3 now supports Region-based Processing

With the latest update to Logic X 10.3, Region-based Processing is now possible, and unlike in Protools 12.6 where you have a basic set of EQ and Comp ,it is possible to engage all the audio units availible. Just select the region and under Functions you find the Selection -based Processing tab.Screen Shot 2017-02-04 at 12.30.37.png

You get a window where you can engage the desired components.

The cool thing now is, that after rendering you can further move and edit the region, so you get a kind of Ableton Live-like freeze and move/edit approach. You can deactivate individually later, or readjust the pluginparameters for each region.
